Tips for Spanish

The most common letters in Spanish are E, A, O, S, R and N, so a first guess like «ARENA», «SERIO» or «NOTAS» covers a lot. Spanish words often end in a vowel: ‑O and ‑A for nouns and adjectives, ‑AR, ‑ER, ‑IR for verbs.

Every answer is an everyday word from our texts at A1–B1 level. Want to see words like these in context? Read a short story at your level.
